For Christmas I was blessed to have to opportunity to participate in three holiday parties. The first was a green eggs and ham brunch with my girls Chelsi and Dalona. While there Chelsi, Dalona, and Dulcinea Renee enveloped us with their vocal skills. From their newly written songs to the classic O' Holy Night (acapella). It was a moving and relaxing experience. I always enjoy listening to this girls and their musical talents.
Following that, I spent the afternoon with my best friend and her family where we played Mad Gab. Absolutely a fun game. I enjoyed it and would love to buy it one day. We also had a white elephant exchange where I came away with make up pallets and a Marc Jacob's purse. Yay me! I think I own at most 3 purses total which isn't normal for a girl I think. Plus it's a tan color so it's different from my other purses which are black and brown.
We ended the night at my family holiday party where Jordan and his sisters were influenced into many drinks and many shots. Of course what do you expect when Jordan brought jello shots to the event. *laugh* After drinking and eating, we did our white elephant exchange. The most wanted items were the Chrome Cast and a Seahawks snow hat. Of course my cousin and his wife ended up with both of the most wanted items. Jordan ended up with a $25 dollar gift card to Nordstroms however the kicker is that he knew what it was before he opened it since my sister had talked to him about it. I came away with a new cooking pot and a new knife to cook with. It's weird as it's completely suitable for me since I adore cooking. Following that, we turned on the karaoke machine and sang the night away.
So in conclusion, Christmas was busy, fun, exciting, and energetic!

Happy Holidays!
Happy Holidays from us to you! We hope you all have or had a fun time celebrating the season!
Though we've been together only a year and a half, I am attempting to build traditions for us and our future family. One of which is having holiday pictures taken at least once a year during the Winter Holidays. There is a possibility that we may be taking holiday pictures more often. Hopefully. *crossing pictures*
Last year, we took the holiday pictures in Downtown Seattle around the Westlake Center area. This year, we took them inside Bellevue Hyatt. We haven't decided where future pictures will be taken but it could be a fun decision to make each year.
With that, we hope you and yours have a festive and memorable holiday season and wish you all the best in the upcoming year.

Holiday Party at The Columbia Tower Club
This was my first year celebrating the holidays with the co-workers at my new job. After having been here over nine months now, I have to say that I'm extremely thankful for the experiences and opportunities that have been provided to me.
After the end of my last job in August 2012, I was broken with a loss of self confidence because I didn't understand how a company I could put so much energy and hard work into could just let me go once my contract ended. It was a depressing time and I took a few months to recover. But I'm glad I was able to or else I wouldn't be able to be where I am now.
As they say, with every door that closes, a new one opens. It just took me a while to find it but I'm thankful that I did.

Seattle Art Museum
Today, Jordan and I attended a holiday party at the Seattle Art Museum. Despite my feet hurting, it was a lot of fun viewing the exhibits. Thankful for my amazing guy and a fun night with friends and coworkers. :)
